Getting started

From new account to first online booking

This guide takes you through the first setup, in the order most salons need it. By the end, a client can choose a service, pick a real free time and book online.

    Create your free account

    Start by creating your Agendessa account. You do not need a card, so you can set up your dashboard before deciding how you want to use it.

  2. 02

    Choose your trade

    Pick the trade that best fits your business, such as hair, nails, lashes and brows, barbering, massage, skincare or pet grooming. Agendessa then prepares suitable services, client record fields and wording, which you can adjust.

    Set your services and prices

    Go through your services and check the names, prices and durations. For example, a colour service may need processing time, so the stylist can see another client while the colour develops.

    Add your team and hours

    Add each team member and set their working hours, breaks, holidays and any blocked time. Agendessa shows one column per team member in the calendar and only offers times for team members who can perform that service.

    Turn on your booking page

    Your business gets its own online booking page with a link and a QR code. You can add a booking button to Instagram, Facebook and Google, or place a floating Book now button on a WordPress or Wix website.

    Import your existing clients

    If you already have clients, services, team members or future appointments in Fresha, Booksy, Evo, MERO, Treatwell, Phorest or a spreadsheet, you can import them. Agendessa recognises the columns, lets you check before saving and skips duplicate clients by phone number.

    Set reminders and messages

    Choose the messages you want clients to receive, such as confirmations, reminders, cancellations, thank you notes and time to come back messages. A reminder 24 hours before a busy Saturday appointment can help the client check the time without calling reception.

    Set up payments and add options

    If you want deposits or payment links, connect your own Stripe or use your bank's payment links, so money goes directly to your business and Agendessa takes 0% commission on bookings. You can also switch on the optional AI receptionist from the dashboard, while the mobile app for iPhone and Android is coming soon.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a card to create an account?

No. Registration is free and you do not need a card to start setting up Agendessa.

Can clients book outside opening hours?

Yes. Clients can use your booking page day and night. Agendessa only shows real free times that match the service and the right team member.

Can Agendessa import my current client list?

Yes. You can import from Fresha, Booksy, Evo, MERO, Treatwell, Phorest or Excel and CSV files. You can also send the file and the Agendessa team will import it for free.

What can the AI receptionist do?

The optional AI receptionist can answer calls through call forwarding or on a new local number, reply on WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger, propose available times, state the price and book only after the client confirms.
